Allison Metts

Allison Metts was born in The Woodlands, TX, where she trained in various styles from a young age. She continued to chase her passion as she attended Princeton University, where she pursued a certificate in Dance. At Princeton, she had the opportunity to perform in many works, including those by Kyle Abraham, Gregory Dolbashian and Zvi Gotheiner.
For the past three years, Allison has resided in New York City, where she has trained with artists such as Jennifer Archibald and Brice Mousset. Allison performed with VALLETO starting in Season 3 and served as rehearsal director during Season 4.
“While working with VALLETO for 2+ years has allowed me to develop as a dancer, it has more importantly made me grow as a performer. Valeria roots all of her movements and ideas in raw emotions, pushing her dancers to feel and making the communication to the audience real. The audience is able to experience the world that Valeria has created for us, and that’s a rare and special find in performance art."
