Devon Travis
DANCER 2017,2018
A native of Dallas, Texas, Devon Travis began training at KJ Dance in various styles. She continued her training at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHSPVA), where she later graduated with High Honors in Dance. Devon just recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance.
Devon has performed works by Crystal Pite, Robert Battle, Sonya Tayeh, MADBOOTS Dance, Sidra Bell, Dwight Rhoden, and Takehiro Ueyama, while creating multiple works of her own. She began working with VALLETO in September of 2017 as an Apprentice and in 2018 she became VALLETO’s company manager and full time Company Member.
