“Waiting” is a choreographic work that delves into themes of stagnation, unfulfilled desires, and the longing for growth. It portrays a group of individuals who find themselves in a place devoid of romantic love, artistic expression, and opportunities for personal evolution. The piece transports the characters into a utopian world, where the waiting ends and life is lived fully and freely. However, this utopia is ephemeral, as they are inevitably pulled back into the reality of their circumstances. Through movement, "Waiting" captures the contrast between the dream of a better existence and the bittersweet realization of returning to a world that hasn't yet changed.
