Danielle Alvarez, originally from Miami, Florida began her dance training at Miami City Ballet. She later continued her training in ballet, as well as jazz, contemporary and hip hop with Stars Dance Company before being accepted into the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase where she graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance Performance. During her time there, Danielle performed works by Gregory Dolbashian, Adam Barruch, Loni Landon and Shannon Gillen, the latter two also being performed at New York Live Arts in NYC. Upon moving to NYC in 2015, Danielle has worked with Réco Dance as well as adding acting to her accolades working on an indie film upstate entitled 'When the Last Leaf Falls’.

Danielle attended Springboard Danse Montréal in the summer of 2016 where she was thrilled to perform works by Ohad Naharin and Elia Mrak. Danielle has also recently started dancing with New Jersey based company Connolly+Co in their second season. Upon joining VALLETO for season 4 she became Assistant Rehearsal Director and is in her second season with the company as a core company dancer. All my love to the Alvari.
