Cassie
COSTUME DESIGNER | DANCER 2015
Cassie graduated from Hampshire College in 2012, where she majored in dance and dance on camera. After graduation, Cassie started and served as artistic director and curator of a non profit based in Holyoke, MA, Guilded Brick, a gallery and performance space for local artists. Since coming to New York, Cassie has danced with emerging choreographer and dance therapist Jenna Balfe and with VALLETO in #VOIDS. In addition to dance, Cassie has a passion for costume and clothing design.
She has designed and produced the VALLETO dancers' ensembles over multiple seasons. Additionally, Cassie owns and operates her own clothing and design company, Mother of Blood, which focuses on designs that incorporate movement and the female form to celebrate and empower femininity.
